Customizable Features

As everyone has their own individual way of studying, we have tried to make Read The Kanji as flexible as possible, allowing you to fit the quiz into your own particular study habits. Don't want to see the definitions? Just hide 'em! Don't like the order of the words? Shuffle the deck! We try to put the options in your hands so you can study how you want.

Preferences

Included with the drilling quiz interface is the ability to customize the various elements to show or hide just the ones you want to see. For example, you may be distracted in your Japanese studying with the English definition and sentence being on the page? Just hide them at will with our preferences panel! And, hidden elements move to the top of the quiz page, so you can always just click on them in case need to take a peek. And aside from just personal settings, you also can choose to study multiple decks at once, shuffle the decks, and even adjust the site’s algorithm in case you feel it is repeating too much or not enough.
