Hi all, I just wanted to tell you about a small update to Read The Kanji today.
- Probably the thing you’ll notice that’s different the most is the stats page has been rearranged slightly. We’ve eliminated the Best/Worst Word/Kanji sections (as they were inaccurate and not so helpful) and replaced them with a much more useful kanji tracking per level color bars. We thought making these stats visual as well would be easier for users to get an idea of how far they are progressing and how far they need to go. This will be extremely useful in the future when we get around to adding Kanji Kentei levels.
- Another big change is that we’ve added a word grid, sorted by JLPT level, so you can see all the words we use for each level, colored according to their strength ratings
- Backend speed and sessions fixes.
- Little twitter bird at the bottom to add some color
As a side note, if you happen to run into any errors, please log out and log back in to reset the session. We made a few changes to how the program handles sessions, so doing this will make sure to reset them and erase stale session date.
